How much can my landlord raise my rent in BC?
No more than the maximum allowable rent increase BC sets each year, and only once every 12 months, with at least three full months' written notice on the approved form. There's no percentage increase allowed above the annual limit except in narrow RTB-approved cases.

The cap applies while you stay in the unit. BC has no vacancy control, so a landlord can set any rent for a new tenant once you move out.
