Rent
How much can my landlord raise rent in Florida?
There's no limit. Florida has no rent control, and a 2023 state law bars local governments from adopting it. The rent is fixed during a lease term; for a month-to-month tenancy a landlord can raise it with at least 30 days' written notice before the next period.

Your protection is the lease and the notice rule — a landlord can't raise rent mid-term, and must give proper notice to change it at renewal or month-to-month.
