Can my landlord enter my unit without notice in BC?
Generally no. A BC landlord must give at least 24 hours' written notice stating the reason and a time between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., unless you agree, it's an emergency, or you've abandoned the unit. Repeated entry without proper notice is a violation of your rights.

If a landlord keeps entering without notice, document each time and apply to the RTB — the Branch can order them to stop and award compensation.
