How much notice do I have to give to move out in BC?
For a month-to-month tenancy, at least one full month's written notice, and it must be received before the day rent is due. A fixed-term lease commits you until the end date unless you assign, sublet, or reach an agreement to end early.

To leave at the end of a month, give notice before the first day of the preceding month. Keep proof of when you gave notice.
